GOD Gave Each One Of Us A Ministry

Have you ever questioned what God has for you to do in His kingdom? Well, you can quit questioning. In 2 Cor. 5, He tells each one of us what our ministry is. It is right there in black and white.

2 Cor. 5 vs 17-21...Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him....

Ok lets break this down. First once we are born again, we are a new creation. We have the righteousness of God in us through Christ who is in us. Now Christ died on the cross, so that all of our sins are wiped out for good. He took on all of our sins so they are no longer. We are no longer sinners. OK, some of you people who are into religiosity instead of what the Word says, is questioning that statement. But the Word is very clear, once we are born again, we are a new creation, we are no longer that old man, and we are made the righteousness of God through Christ. Yes we may mess up now and again. But we are to stay in the Word and fight that impulse to sin, and we can because we have Christ in us. Now God tells us to go out and share this forgiveness with others. The scripture even says it is as if He is begging us to go out and tell others what His Son gave up for us and everyone else. Can you picture that? He does not want to think for one moment that His Son died for nothing. So you see there is your ministry. It says it right here, "and He has given us the ministry of reconciliation" the scripture says we are ambassadors for Christ. In other words, we are to go out and tell everyone we can about what our Savior did for us and what He did for them. And how He wants to forgive them no matter what they have done. We are to be missionaries of the ministry of forgiveness. Our message we are to share is crystal clear, That Christ loved them so much that he died for their sins and forgives them no matter what the sin. So when we go to work, to school, to the grocery store, etc., we should be taking our ministry with us every day when we leave the house and sharing it with as many as we can.
