Not For Me But For You

Sometimes people get confused as to who and why they are giving their tithes and offerings. Tithes and offerings are not given just so the church can pay their bills and themselves. Tithes and offerings are given to help the kingdom of God grow.

It is not just for giving so that others will be blessed. It is giving so that you may receive your blessings. When you give your tithes and offerings to God, He credits your account. He meets all your needs.

Paul tells the Philippians that they were the only ones who sent aid to him when he was away sharing God's gospel. He told them, he did not seek the aid for himself, as he had all he needed, but that he seeked the fruit that abounds to their account. In other words, he taught them right, that when they gave, God blessed them with more than enough, and abundance in their own lives.

When offering time comes around at your church, I pray that your pastor share with you the blessings God wants to bless you with. I hope that you do not just give as if you are paying a monthly bill, or because you feel obligated out of a sense, thinking it is the right thing to do, but that when you give your heart has already purposed what your needs are as well and give expecting to receive, that God will meet your every need. AMEN! Now some of you are thinking, well that is selfish giving, only thinking of yourself. NO, I am not saying to only think of yourself, but I am simply saying, do not leave yourself out. It is time you started thinking of yourself as God thinks of you, as His child, and that you start believing that you are worthy of His riches and glory that He says Himself, He gives to you, when you give with your heart. AMEN!

God does not need your money to get His work done. Trust me, He has all He needs. Why then do you think He requires you to give? So that He may get His blessings to you. God knows your heart, you can not hide anything from God. God knows what you have and with what faith you give. Just like the widow with the two mites. She gave all she had out of her lack, with faith believing that she would receive all that she needed. AMEN!

When you give your tithes and offerings, you should be filled with joy that God gave you a seed to sow. Your tithes and offerings are seeds from God. He supplied you with the seed so that you might sow and receive your blessings.

Phil 4 v 15-19.....Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus......

Notice he tells them what they sent concerning their giving and receiving. In other words they knew, they were taught right, that they are not just giving but at the same time they are receiving blessings. AMEN! And then notice that he tells them, that their giving was an acceptable sacrifice, not just some little extra something they had left over to give, but a sacrifice, out of their lack, that they made unto God, and it was a pleasing aroma. AMEN!

Church, it is time, you start believing God wants to bless you as well as all others that your tithes and offerings are helping. Pray over your tithes and offeriings, and purpose in your heart what is a sacrifice for you to give unto Him, so that He may bless you as well as others. AMEN!

As The Father Loved Me

John 15 v 9..."As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love"....

WOW! Do you get that? How much do you think the Father loved Jesus, His only Son? Do you think maybe more than anything, more than you could even explain? Well, then, that is how much Jesus loves you.

That is a lot of love. If ever you doubted the love Jesus has for you, re-read this scripture. There is no greater love than this. Jesus tells us this in the next few verses of this passage. He says, if you will do what He commands you, He will call you friend, and then He gives you His commandment.

John 15 v 12-14....This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you will do whatever I command you.....

He didn't say keep these ten commandments and I will love you. No, He said keep this commandment that He gives you, to love one another. If you do this then the commandments written under the time of the law will fall into place. He is not disregarding the ten commandments, He has already died for them so that you would not be bound unto death because of them.

I heard someone say the other day, that America fights so hard to keep the ten commandments in the courthouses, the schools, but they should be fighting to keep John 3 v 16 in the schools, and the public offices. Jesus died and took the place of the law, (the ten commandments). We may be fighting too hard to keep people under the law instead of letting them know that they are free from the law, and under the GRACE of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. AMEN! He is not saying that you are free to sin, because you are free from the law (the ten commandments), no, He is saying that we are to keep His commandments that He leaves us with, the first is to love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind, and then the 2nd is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself. When we truly keep these two commandments, it would be hard for us to live in sin. AMEN!

Mark 12 v 30-31...."And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.".......

Remember Jesus loved you like the Father first loved Him. AMEN!

A Dull Thud In The Bucket

When you give your tithes and offerings, do you give it religiously out of law, because you know that the word tells us to give 10%, or do you give joyfully, generously, out of your heart. In other words when you give does your giving make a dull thud sound in the bucket, or does rejoicing jump in your heart knowing that you are blessing God's kingdom.

This is how you can tell if your offering is just a dull thud in the bucket. When you leave church, what do you do for the kingdom the rest of the week? How many times do you help someone else besides yourself during the week? How many times do you think of others, and then not just think about them, but actually do something good for someone? How many times during the week do you get into the word of God and study out His plan for your life?

Don't let your offering just be a dull thud sound in the bucket, let it be given with faith, and expectations of blessings to come to you and to all those your offering helps.

2 Cor 9 v 6-8....But this I say; He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work.....

God is just waiting to bless you as you bless others.

His Mercy Endures Forever

How many times have you heard someone say, how long must I endure this? We seem to think that we have to endure things that the enemy tries to throw at us. But the word says, The Lord's Mercy Endures Forever. How many times does the Lord have to tell us, to cast our cares over to Him?

The next time you ask, how long you must endure, stop and remember His word. You only have to endure until you give it to Him.

1 Pet 5 v 7...Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you....

This scripture tells you how long you must endure, until you cast your cares upon Him so that He might exalt you, deliver you out of your trouble in due time. When is due time, when you give it up and give it to Him. AMEN!

PS 138 v 7-8.....Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands....

This scripture tells us that the Lord will save us from our enemies. That He will perfect that which concerns us. If you have sickness in your body, then give it back to the LORD, so that He may perfect that which concerns you. He already took it once on the cross, why are you trying to take it back.

This is where our Faith comes in. We have to trust in the LORD and in His word to do what He tells us to do. We make something so simple so hard. That is why it is so important to stay in His word and know what His word tells us to do in every situation of life.

Prov. 16 v 20....He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he....

Prov 29 v 25...The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe...

What is a snare? It is a trap. The enemy puts fear of something in you, so that he may trap you and keep you in his snare, in his hands. When you cast out that fear and trust in the LORD, then you are putting yourself into the LORD's hands. Whose hands would you rather be in? The choice is up to you.

A good scenario, when a child runs and jumps into a parents arms because they trust that parent to keep them safe from whatever is chasing them, or scaring them. The same is true with us and our Father in heaven.

The next time fear creeps up in you, stop and resist the devil, do not place yourself into his hands, instead jump into the arms of the LORD, HE is more than able to rescue you from that snare whatever it might be. AMEN!

Remember His Mercy Endures Forever, not just this one time, not just for a little while, but FOREVER. AMEN!

Feeding On The Word

While my husband was listening to a teaching on a CD from an evangelist talking about living a blessed life, he told me the man said something about the reason we read the word everyday, is sort of like when God fed the people the manna each day and told them only to take what they needed for that day. You know the story in Exodus chpt 16 when they tried to take more and store it up, it would go bad, worms would be in any that was left over.

I have not listened to the teaching on this CD yet but when Rob was telling me about him comparing this to us reading the word each day, I had a revelation of what he was saying. If we only hear the word on Sundays, or just every now and then, when the time comes that we need to draw from that word, it is no longer fresh on our minds, and we stumble and try to remember what did God say about that, or we try to cry out to God and remind Him what is in His word, but we can't remember, because it is no longer fresh. We try to draw strength from our Spirit but we can not find any strength because we have not fed our Spirit man in a while, and now we are drained of any strength we may have had.

You might be thinking, but you tell us all the time to store up the word each day. Yes, store it up to be used, not to just sit and grow worms. That is why the Word tells us to be doers of the word and not hearers only. If the people just gathered the manna and held onto it but never ate any, it goes bad. But when they gathered and fed themselves and used it for the purpose in which God gave it, they were refreshed, strengthened. If you just read the Bible every day to say you have read the word of God but you never do anything with what you read, then eventually the word loses it's power in your life, because you have not taken it in for the nourishment it was meant to give. If you just fill a vessel with the word but there is no receiving or believing of the word then they are just words.

James 1 v 21-22....Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.....

Do you see what this scripture is telling us? That we have to receive the word and be a doer of the word, and then the word is able to save our souls. AMEN!

Food does your body no good if it is just looked at and not eaten. There is no nutritional value in food that is never eaten. It is just wasted food, that will eventually go bad. Same with the word. When the word is fed, if it is not taken in with faith, and used to strengthen us, then it is like food still sitting on the plate just being looked at.

Take what you need each day from the word. Strengthen yourself in your Spirit with the word. And the saying eat everything that is on your plate, is not so true. The same with trying to make children eat all you put on their plates when they are clearly not hungry will only make them sick. The same with the word. Don't try to take in more than you can receive at one time, because you will only be strengthened by what you receive. The rest will be like the manna that was not used, you will forget what you even read.

Be Healthy, Be Strong, Take your nourishment from Him today.

What Will Your Faith Walk Show

When the enemy comes against you, and attacks you with something so big that you are shaken to your core, what will your faith walk show? Will you rejoice and praise God? Or will you lie down and let the enemy soak in? What I mean is will you meditate on what the enemy is telling you and stay focused on your problem? The word tells us that we are to praise God in all things, to rejoice always in everything.

Phil 4 v 4....Rejoice in the LORD always, again I will say, rejoice!

Phil 4 v 6....Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God....

We need more than ever to focus on His word and what He says when we are attacked, We need to give Him the praise and the glory and thanksgiving for our victory even when we cannot see the victory yet. AMEN!

When we cry out to God, we need to cry out in faith and not despair. We need to cry out thanking Him and rejoicing in Him and what He has already done for us and not cry out begging for Him to do something that has already been taken care of. AMEN!

1 Thes. 5 v 16-17...Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you...

This scripture tells us what the will of God for us is. That we rejoice always, that we pray always, that we give thanks always. You might say, how do you give thanks when you have been diagnosed with some fatal disease?

You go to the WORD and read in 1 Pet 2v 24, that you were healed of all your diseases, or in Is. 53 v 5, by His stripes you were healed. AMEN!

Look at Paul when he was in prison chained. He started singing and praising God and giving thanks to Him, and his chains were loosed and he was free.

The same is true today, when you cry out to God in Faith, rejoicing in what you can't see yet, but having faith that His word is truth, you will be loosed from what ever chains that bind you, be it sickness, poverty, loneliness, whatever curse that is trying to bind you. The word says in Matthew 16 v 19 that what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. What ever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven.

What are you holding on to? What are you binding around your neck? In other words what are you accepting over your life? Is it of God, or is it of the enemy? If it is a curse, it is of the enemy. If it is not love, it is not of GOD. AMEN!

Jesus tells us in Matthew 11 v 29-30 to take on His yoke and learn from Him and He will give you rest. His yoke is easy. In other words trade your yoke that you are trying to hang around your neck for His yoke. AMEN! Have Faith in His yoke, instead of the yoke, you are trying to wear. Because when you meditate on your problem you are giving your problem more faith than you are giving to Him. AMEN!

Where does this faith come from? From His Word. Make up your mind today to REJOICE in all things. When you do, you resist the devil and the devil has to flee. AMEN.

James 4 v 7...therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you......

Remember when you submit to God, when you are praising Him and rejoicing in Him you are doing His will. AMEN!

STAY IN THE WORD!

Don't Drain Your Word Bucket

When we let someone steal our joy, we drain our Word bucket. When we let someone offend us we drain our Word bucket. When we lash out at someone getting angry with them, we drain our Word bucket. Or when we simply get out of the Word and we do not fill ourselves with the Word, we eventually drain our Word bucket.

Your thinking, what is our Word bucket? The Word bucket is where we fill ourselves with His Word, and when things come against us, we are able to bring His Word to our remembrance and act out of what His Word says, and not out of our flesh. But when we do not keep our Word bucket filled, we have nothing but flesh to draw from. Or when we get angry and act out we knock our bucket over and let the Word just drain away, wasted instead of being used.

Don't store up the Word just to keep to yourself, you need to use His Word everyday to keep yourself strong and to share with others when they need to hear the Good News. That is why we need to stay in the Word each day so that we can stay full of His Word. AMEN!

Eccl. 7 v 9....Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools.....

Gal. 5 v 16-17....I say then: walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.....

How do we walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, by keeping the Word of God in us at all times. By not letting someone easily offend us. We have to be like the Word tells us in James, slow to anger.

James 1 v 19-20....So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,(anger) for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.....

Remember the next time someone cuts you off in traffic, or doesn't get your order just right at the restaraunt, don't be too quick to knock your Spirit bucket over, by draining your Word bucket, by getting angry or easily offended. Don't act out of the flesh instead of out of His Word.

Fill your buckets up today.

Are You Speaking Too Loud To Hear The Holy Spirit

Are you speaking too loud to hear when the Holy Spirit talks to you, or maybe when He is trying to correct you? When you are talking about others, gossiping, or stirring strife, you are drowning out the Holy Spirit, or else you are choosing not to listen to Him. If you continue to do this, you will develop what the Word calls a hard heart, and eventually you will not be able to hear Him at all.

PS 95 v 8...Today, if you will hear His voice; Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness…..

We saw what happened to those in the days of the wilderness, they wandered and wandered never finding the rest God had promised them, because of their lack of faith over and over. They eventually could not hear God speaking to them.

PS 95 v 9-11.…When your fathers tested Me, they tried Me, though they saw My work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, and said, “It is a people who go astray in their hearts, and they do not know My ways”, so I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter My rest….

What about when the final trumpets blow, will you be able to hear or will you be speaking too loudly to know it? I do not mean audibly loud, I mean with what you are saying, with your words or your actions. AMEN!

Sometimes we can speak so loudly with our actions we do not even have to use words. That works both ways, to the good and to the bad., depending on our actions. AMEN!

If you are not walking in Love you are walking away from God. You can only walk with God, when you have love in your heart for your neighbor. AMEN!

1 John 4 v 20-21.…If someone says, “I love God”, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him; that he who loves God, must love his brother also…..

When we are walking with GOD, we have peace and love in our hearts and our minds, and we can hear that small voice inside of us, leading us in the right direction, the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Let us all do some spring cleaning today, and clean out our spiritual house, clean out the hard wax in our ears and open up the word of God and listen to that voice tell us where we need to change, or how well we are doing. AMEN!

Stay Out Of Strife Let The Blessings Flow

When we are in strife we stop our flow of blessings.

James 3 v 13-18....Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self seeking exist; confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace....

When you are sowing strife, you are not making peace. Where there is strife there is evil. Whether intentionally or not you are sowing evil into your own life when you are sowing strife in others. When people go around gossiping about others, they are sowing strife. They have stepped out of God's presence into the presence of the enemy. AMEN!

To be in the presence of the enemy is to be away from God, therefore you are no longer able to be blessed. We stop our blessings from flowing when we get into strife with someone. Even the smallest thing that we may argue over is still considered strife and can hinder our flow of blessings.

Don't be a friend of the world instead of a friend to God. When you join in with gossip and others who are causing strife you become a friend of the world instead of a friend to God. God does not bless the world, He blesses His own. AMEN!

James 4 v 4b....whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.....

We see in James 3 when we are in strife the word tells us we bring about confusion and every evil work. And we know that peace is brought by God, not confusion. AMEN!

1 Cor 14 v 33....For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints....

If you are without peace, check your love walk and see if you are in strife with anyone. Life is too short to be in strife. Live your life full of joy, live your life as a friend to God and not a friend of the world. AMEN!

My Peace I Leave With You

Jesus tells us in His word that He left His peace with us. What does that mean? That means more than just having peace in your spirit. He left us with His wholeness. He didn't just say, He would leave you peace, He says, MY peace I give to you.

John 14 v 27....Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.....

When you look up the word peace, it means tranquility, stability, complete, able to withstand everything without exception. WOW! Everything without exception. Did you get that EVERYTHING!

John 16 v 33....These things I have spoken to you, that in ME you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world...

You see we are not of this world, just as Jesus was not of this world. So when the things of this world come against you, remember His word when He says, My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled. And remember what peace means. To withstand everything without exception. AMEN!

When Jesus says I give you power and love and a sound mind. What does that mean? Well if you look up the word sound, one of the meanings is ...free from injury/disease, free from flaw or defect.

2 Tim 1 v 7....For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind......

So now we have His peace which helps us to withstand everything, and a sound mind which means we are free from disease, injury, flaws or defects. AMEN!

So now are you seeing that when Jesus left you with His peace, He left you with His wholeness in every area of your life. What does wholeness mean? Well, when I looked up wholeness, it means...physically sound, free of disease, healthy, complete.....

Phil 4 v 6-7....Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will gaurd your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.....

Col. 1 v 19-20....For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.......

You see Jesus didn't leave you with just any old junk. He left you with His peace, the peace that He made with the Father for all of us on the cross with His blood. Peace over all sickness, diseases, poverty, any lack in your life, any strife in your life, that is being brought on by the things of this world, He has already overcome these things on the cross.

We have the peace of Jesus within us, Let not our hearts be troubled over anything, but in all things give thanks that He has already won our battles for us. AMEN!

I prayed for you all today.

Over And Above Giving

Over and above giving can only mean over and above living. AMEN! As I was listening to our pastor back home in LA, this weekend, he showed us this scripture. One thing I love about this pastor is he always makes sure you know how to get blessed and stay blessed. He doesn't cheat you out of your blessings by not sharing what God says about giving. AMEN!

Some pastors use offering time as being all about just giving because it is your obligation. Though it may be that God does tell us to give, He tells us to give so that He may be able to get your blessings back to you. AMEN!

The verse that was used this past weekend was from 1 Chron. a story about David and his over and beyond giving.

1 Chron. 29 v 3.....moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver....

Because David set his affection on the church of his God. In other words He was so dedicated to the house of the LORD, (the church) that he wanted to bless God with more than just the norm, he wanted to bless the house of the LORD with over and above measures. He was willing to give more than what was required, he wanted to take some out of his play money and give to the church. AMEN!

But he was not the only one in the church who felt that way. Look at verse 6.

1 Chron. 29 v 6...Then the leaders of the father's houses, leaders of the tribes of Israel, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the officers over the king's work, offered WILLINGLY.....

In other words the people of the church gave as willingly as David. They may not have had as much as David to give, but they had the same heart to give. AMEN!

Pastor said something like this, never be ashamed of your over and above giving, never compare what you give with what someone else may be able to give. When you are giving over and above, and your over and above is $20, and someone else is giving over and above and their giving is $1000, it may not be equal amounts given but it is equal sacrifice. And that is what God looks at. Everyone will not always have an equal amount to give, but everyone can have an equal sacrifice to give. AMEN!

I hope your pastor makes a point to teach you each week about giving. I hope that you are not being cheated out of your blessings because you have not been told what the word says about giving. I hope you do not just give out of conviction of the law but that you give expecting to receive all the blessings God has for you. AMEN! Remember offering time, is a time of worship. It is not a time for paying another monthly bill that is due. This is a time when we worship God with what He has blessed us with, so that we may bless others. AMEN!

Let's go over and above with our giving back unto Him who gave so much unto us. AMEN!

Pray This Prayer Everyday

I was listening to a pastor this weekend who was preaching on the power of God and how we have the same power in us as believers. Keyword there....BELIEVER! Yes we have to believe what His word says so that we can get a revelation of that power He has instilled in us through Christ Jesus His Son.

This prayer was one of the many scriptures the pastor hit on. And I thought MAN! If we would just pray this everyday and mean it and believe it, we could really turn our thinking around and our lives. AMEN.

Ephes. 1 v 16-21......that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may KNOW what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward US who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.......

First of all I am going to be praying this prayer everyday for the next 30 days like the pastor suggested and I am also going to pray this prayer for all tid-bit readers. Email me and let me know when you get a revelation of what this scripture is telling you. When you realize we have that same power.

He is telling us in this prayer that God wants us to know that He has given us the same MIGHTY POWER that He gave to Jesus, and He wants us to KNOW and understand the EXCEEDING GREATNESS of His POWER in US. He wants us to OPEN our eyes and see what His POWER that is within us can do for us and for others. We have inherited the riches of His Glory when we became believers in Christ Jesus. AMEN!

Col. 1 v 9-14.....For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the LORD, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of His Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.......

Oh my gosh! Do you see it right there in front of your eyes? He qualified US to be partakers of all He has given to Jesus, we can have also. This scripture says that we may walk worthy of the LORD, Pleasing Him by being fruitful in all that He has given us.

HE WANTS US TO USE HIS POWER!! AMEN!!!

Are you excited yet? Have you got the message in this prayer yet? When are we going to start using that POWER to heal the sick, to rise above our circumstances, to live our lives more abundantly?

Let's begin today with this prayer enlightening us to how we can do it. AMEN!

Wisdom Brings Us Wealth

Wisdom brings us wealth in many ways, not just financially or in material things. Wisdom brings us health to our bodies, knowledge of understanding to our minds, wealth in our finances. We need to seek wisdom so that we may live this abundant life God has for us, the life that Jesus, Himself died on the cross for.

Where do we get this wisdom? From the WORD of God.

Prov. 3 v 13-18.......Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her.......

Doesn't that sound like the kind of life you have been wanting? A happy, long, and fulfilled life. AMEN! Here is the simple principle to obtaining wisdom.

James 1 v 5-6.....If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.....

How do we keep from doubting? By staying focused on what His word says and not what the world tells us. AMEN!

Trust In Him & Be Debt Free

If we would just stand on our faith and trust in God to do what His word says He will do, we would all live debt free. No one would be making millions off of our interest we pay out on credit cards each month. My eartly father never charged anything. If he did not have cash to pay for it, he didn't get it until he did. He paid cash for everything. He tried so hard to instill that in me but somewhere down the line I ignored that teaching and now find myself as one of those who is helping someone else get rich off my interest each month.

Well not anymore, today God showed me in His word where I have failed in getting His truth about credit cards.

When we charge something on a credit card because we do not have the money to buy it, we might as well be telling God, sorry, Lord but I will have to use this card because this is too big of a purchase for you to take care of. You do not have the capability of helping me to get this, I will just have to put my faith and trust in these credit card lenders instead of you.

WOW! How many people reading this, did that hit home with? How many of you have told God, that the credit card people are more capable of giving us what we need than He is? How many of us have actually called God a liar, everytime we charge something so we can have it now, instead of waiting on God to supply. I mean that is basically what we are doing. AMEN!

Yet He still loves us, even as stupid as we are when it comes to putting our trust and faith in something or someone else instead of Him. AMEN!

Phil 4 v 19....and my God shall supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus....

According to whose riches in glory? Who is more rich than God? Who has more than the One who created it all to start with? HELLO!

I know you are saying but what about what we want not just neccessarily what we need? Glad you asked.

PS 37 v 3-4....Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart....

There it is, the desires of your heart, not just your needs. AMEN!

In case you didn't get it!

Prov. 10 v 22....The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.....

How many of you know with credit card debt you have nothing but sorrow after the new wears off? AMEN!

Still haven't gotten it? Try my favorite scripture.

Mal. 3 v 10....Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this (in other words He is saying "I dare you to try this") says the LORD of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to contain it.....

So now, I encourage all of you to cut up those credit cards, and not to ever buy anything else that you can not afford which means if you do not have the cash to pay for it then, wait until you do. And make sure you pray about something before you purchase it, make sure you seek God and His wisdom first. If God wants you to have it, He will supply it. AMEN!

James 1 v 5....If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.....

HALLELUJAH!
Let us all claim that we are debt free in 2010. Seek God and let Him deliver you from the snares of the devil and his creditors. AMEN!

PS 40 v 13.....Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me!

This should be our prayer each day as we ask the LORD to help us to become debt free, and to forgive us for the sin of greed, and forgive our lack of faith, that we would put our trust in the credit cards instead of Him to supply our every want and need. AMEN!

Remember when you say credit instead of debit you are calling God a liar, and misplacing your faith and trust.

How Do Your Words Smell

What fragrance rises up from your words to the LORD? Is it a sweet smelling pleasing aroma or is it of stench?

Our words are so important. You see what we say here on this earth we are releasing in heaven. So if we are going around talking about our neighbors, or saying hurtful things to our love ones, we are sending up a stench offering to the LORD. That's right, your words are an offering to the LORD when you speak them. If we are praising HIM, we are obviously sending a pleasing aroma to our GOD.

2 Cor 2 v 14-17....Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ......

WOW! When we speak to others about the word of God, we are speaking life or death into them. Life if they choose to accept His gospel, and death if they reject it. That statement shows you how much power your words have in them.

Ephes 5 v 2...And walk in love, as Christ also has saved us and given Himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.....

Christ knew that His sacrifice on the cross would bring a sweet smelling aroma to GOD. Why? Because of His love for us, He let Our Father's will be done and not His own.

PS 19 v 14.....Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer....

When we as children of God speak, He listens. HELLO! So what comes out of your mouth, goes straight to His ears. AMEN! Now don't go getting all condemned thinking you can't possibly watch every word that comes from your mouth. That is not what this message is about.

This message is to teach us that we are to pay attention to our words, be slow to speak, in other words think before we speak, and also to be more thoughtful of the fragrance of our actions and what we are sending up to God. AMEN!

Matt. 16 v 19.....and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.....

Remember, you do not want God in heaven saying " what is that awful smell and who is it coming from'?

Be kind to one another and walk in love toward each other and think before you speak. AMEN!

Feed On His Faithfulness

How many times have we struggled to believe what God's word says? I mean when you feel sick and the word clearly says you are healed, what do you tend to believe? His word, or your symptoms? When you think you are not going to have enough to make ends meet before your next paycheck, do you look at the circumstances or do you believe what His word says, that He will supply all your needs?

When He says feed on His faithfulness, He is telling you to put your trust in Him, when you feel like you just do not have the faith to get it done, put your trust in His faithfulness. Who do you know that is more faithful than Jesus? Or who or what can you trust more than Jesus?

PS 37 v 3-4....Trust in the LORD, and do good, dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD and He shall give you the desires of your heart.....

God says that we (as children of God) are no longer of this world, and that we should not think as this world thinks but that we should renew our minds, to be more like Jesus. How do we renew our minds? By getting into His word and speaking and acting like He tells us.

Roman 12 v 2...and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.....

God's will is good, perfect and acceptable to HIM. AMEN! God does not settle for mediocre.

IS 8 v 11.....For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people.....

We are a peculiar people, we are GOD's people and we do not live by our circumstances but by our faith. We walk through life differently than the people of this world. AMEN!

When you feel like you just can not grasp that what He is saying will be, feed on His faithfulness. Put your trust in HIM and HIS WORD, and not in this world. AMEN!

Where Do You Find Rest

Where or what do you turn to when you need to just chill out and relax and not think or do anything? When you are so troubled about someone or something, that you can not rest?

Matt 11 v 28-30....Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light....

Well, if you are looking anywhere else for your rest, you will not find the kind of rest Jesus wants to give you, when you come to Him. He will give you a permanent rest from whatever is bothering you. Anywhere else you look you will probably only find temporary rest, and not true rest at that. AMEN!

God makes His word so available to us, and so easy to follow. He wants us to be free from our burdens. He does not want us to struggle through everyday life. No, His word says He came so that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

John 10 v 10-11....The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good Shepherd. The good shepherd give His life for the sheep....

Jesus did not give His life for nothing. He did not die on the cross for us so that we could walk around all pitiful claiming every disease the world tries to put on us, or claiming lack and poverty when He died for those things, so that you would not have to endure them.

Diseases, lack and poverty are curses that we as children of God are free from because of what Jesus did on the cross. AMEN!

Rest does not mean to lie down and to quit. Rest means to have peace and confidence in the LORD. AMEN!

To rest in the LORD is to know without a doubt that He will provide what you need. Not that you stop living, or stop working toward your goal, but that you know your goal will be easily attained when you rest in the LORD and let Him carry the burden. AMEN!

PS 37 v 3-8a.....Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; ...........

WOW! Did you catch that? Feed on His faithfulness. If you truly are resting in the LORD and giving your concerns to Him instead of fretting as these verses go on to tell you that fretting only causes harm. See here again, Jesus is trying to tell you through His word what brings sickness on your body. Fretting, worrying causes stress and we all know that stress leads to all major illnesses and diseases. HELLO!

FEED ON HIS FAITHFULNESS. In other words turn your TRUST to Him and seek Him for your rest. AMEN!

So now where will you turn when you need rest in your spirit and in your souls?

Good Friday

Today is celebrated by Christians as Good Friday. Why? Because this represents the day that Jesus died on the cross for all of us. This is the day that He wiped away all your sins, sicknesses, diseases, lack, everything under the curse of the law, He did away with when He gave Himself on the cross for you. AMEN!

Gal. 3 v 13-14....Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.....

We have seen this verse alot this week. But I feel someone still needs to get it. YOU ARE FREE! You are free from sickness, diseases, lack, YOU HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH!
YOU ARE THE BLESSED CHILDREN OF GOD. AMEN!

Gal. 3 v 26-29....For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all ONE in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise........

HALLELUJAH! IT IS GOOD FRIDAY EVERYDAY! AMEN!

Are you seeing how much good news the word has in it for you? Have you started searching out what God has for you in His word daily?

PRAISE GOD FOR GOOD FRIDAY OVER 2000 YEARS AGO! AMEN!
MAKE JESUS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR TODAY!

The Good Shepherd

Who is the Good Shepherd? Jesus! He tells us that we as His sheep know His voice and He knows ours. Did you get that? He knows your voice. He knows it is you when you cry out to Him for help. He hears you and He will deliver you. AMEN! He says, even sheep of another fold, he will bring out and they will hear and know His voice and we will become one flock. AMEN!

Jesus said no longer are we two flocks, Jews and Gentiles, but we are of one fold now together with Him. AMEN!

John 10 v 16.....And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd......

John 10 v 7......Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep....

John 10 v 9-10....I am the door. If anyone enter by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.....

Bad things are not of God. Once Jesus died on the cross for us, He died to save us from God's wrath. He says He came to give us life and He didn't stop there, He says so that we may have it more abundantly. AMEN! He says we will find pasture, (rest). God is good and love. If it is not of good and love, it is not of GOD. AMEN!

John 10 v 14-15....I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

And He did just that. He was crucified on the cross for you and for me. There was no one left out. He said He came to die for all who have sinned, and that we only had to accept Him as our Lord, as the only begotten Son of God and we would have eternal life with Him and the Father. We would be forgiven our trespasses then and forever. And then He didn't stop there, He rose again on the third day and is ALIVE today with the Father in Heaven and ALIVE in us through His Holy Spirit. AMEN!!

REJOICE and be glad that you have a SAVIOR in Christ JESUS. AMEN! A Savior who is ALIVE. HALLELUJAH! A SAVIOR WHO CAN FORGIVE ALL SINS because His FATHER in HEAVEN gave HIM the authority to do so, when HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU. AMEN!

Celebrate Easter this weekend, remembering what Jesus did for you. One great way to celebrate Christ is to

STAY IN THE WORD!
