His Face Or His Hands

When you seek God, are you seeking His face or His hands? Are you seeking His presence or what He can give you or what He can do for you? When you pray do you pray something like this, Lord I need this or that, and I would like to go here or there, or do you pray something like this, Lord, I love you and I praise you, Lord I want to feel your presence, come Holy Spirit fill me with your presence, Lord I want to see your face, I want to feel your touch, thank you Lord for loving me, thank you Lord for your presence?

When you think of God, do you think of Him as this big, giant huge God who can do anything, where there is nothing to big for Him to handle, this big God who created the entire universe? Or do you think of Him as a loving Father, your Daddy who wants to give you, His little princess or little buddy anything that he/she desires or needs?

God wants true fellowship with us. He wants us to come to Him praising and giving thanks not just whenever we need something from Him. He wants to hear from us daily, not just when we need help. Do you only ever call your parent when you just want something or need something from them, or do you call them just because, to check in to see how they are, what they have been doing, just to say I love you, just to chit chat, just to fellowship with them?

God is our heavenly Father and He is not just sitting up there in heaven waiting to jump into action everytime we need Him to make something happen for us. No, He is waiting for our fellowship, waiting for us to respond to His love for us, waiting to hear praise and worship from us.

Here are some scriptures of how when we seek His presence, His hands supply our every need. AMEN!

PS 16 v 8-9....I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope......

Ps 16 v 11.....You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore....

Whatever we might need is always there for the asking, but even better than that, He, our Father is always there to love us right where we are, to hold us in His wings, to comfort us, to give us rest and peace. When we find this rest and peace in Him, then all other things will be added unto us.

Matt. 6 v 33....But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteouness, and all these things shall be added unto you...

Matt. 11 v 28...Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.....

2 Cor. 13 v 11....Finally brethren, farewell, become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.....

To be complete, is to be in Christ Jesus. Those who are in Christ, have a wholeness, they are complete. This means that we have peace, rest, divine health and assurance that our Father in heaven is waiting for us to come to Him and to let Him love us the same way He first loved Jesus.

Next time you go to Him in prayer, first go with your worship, and adoration of who He is. Go to Him as your loving Father who wants to love on you, and then He will see your needs and fulfill them. Nothing is hidden from God. He sees down into the deepest part of your heart.

Remember He first loved us, not the other way around. He loved us before we ever thought of ourselves as being worthy of His love, and His love is available to us at all times, 24/7. We can't use up that love. He is not a magic genie who will only give us 3 wishes and then go away. No He is never ending, He is forever, He is our "abba" (daddy) Father whose love will never cease. Seek His face and then His hands will fulfill. AMEN!

A Good Opinion Of Who God Is

This was one of the first statements I heard from our teacher in our connections class at church. She says it all the time, but it really jumped out at me.

When we think of God how do we really see Him? Do we just see some bigger than anything or anyone image who is standing guard over the entire universe or do we see a loving, kind, generous Father who wants to give us His Children everything?

We have to have a good opinion of God before we will ever truly know how much He loves us, how much He wants you to prosper, how much He wants you to be whole and healed and at peace in your life.

He wants you to live life to the fullest, abundantly in all riches, overflowing with joy, and walking in divine health. That is the real GOD.

God is not this person waiting to punish you when you do bad. He is not the one making you feel condemnation when you mess up. He is not the one causing you to be sick, or poor, or depressed. That would be the enemy. AMEN!

That is why it is so important to read the word of God so you can see Who the real God is. He is all about Love!

When you hear someone say something like, "oh it must be God's will for so and so to suffer like this". Then that person is confused and does not have a good opinion of who God really is.

It is time that we recognize the enemy for who he is, and time to boot him out of our lives with the word of God and the power He left within us. We have the right to tell the enemy to get lost and to let go of whatever he is binding us with. He has no authority in our lives, we however do have authority over him. AMEN!

God says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. But, Jesus the Good Shepherd comes so that we might have life, and have it overflowing, to the fullest.

John 10 v 10-11......The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep....

It is never God's will for you to suffer, to be sick, to be poor, to be feeling anything but love from Him. You see God is love. Love comes from God. Without God you would not know love. Love is not just a feeling or an emotion, Love is God.

Hebrews 11 v 6....But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him....

Do you see what that scripture is saying? You can not please God if you do not have faith in who He is. And who does it say He is? He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. AMEN!

It doesn't say He is going to take away from you, it says He is going to reward you. No where in the new testament does Jesus ever make someone sick, or not heal them when they want to be healed and believe in Him to heal them. No where does He cause anyone to die, but rather raises them from the dead. That is LOVE. No where do you see Him say well, you do not have anything to eat, so sorry for you! No, He multiplies and feeds thousands.

Ephes. 3 v 16-20.....that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.......

You see what this scripture is saying, you can't even imagine or think of anything that would be too big for God to do for you. But do you also see where the power is that makes it happen? The power is within you. His Spirit He left in you, His power, His love. It is not your power but His power that is within you to be all He says you can be, to have all He says you can have. The word says that you are rooted and grounded in Love. That means that you are rooted and grounded in God through Jesus. You can't be knocked down if you do not allow it. AMEN!

What is your opinion of God? Who do you say He is? Is He LOVE and a rewarder or is He a destroyer? His word will show us and give us revelation of who He really is, if we would just take some time and spend with Him in His word.

Get a good opinion of who God is and you will see who you really are in Christ. AMEN!

Let's Talk About Communion

Holy Communion not just Communion. Not just a tradition. When we receive Holy Communion we should do so fully understanding what it means, not doing just because the church is having communion that day. And also Holy Communion can be taken as often as you need to. If it be 3 times a day, or once a day or twice a week, what I am saying is that there is no set time for Holy Communion. There is no where that says it can only be taken once a day, or the third Sunday of the month. Who is putting limits on what Christ told us to do, and said as often as you do this, do in remeberance of Me? He didn't say now don't use Me all up and only take Me once a day, or save Me so I will be more special to you if you only partake once a month??? That all comes down to men's ideas and ways of doing this.

The truth of the matter is this. Jesus died on the cross and when we take Holy Communion we are remembering His death on that cross and the sacrifices that He died for. The benefits that we receive when we take Holy Communion are many, salvation, healing, wholeness, peace, prosperity, in other words everything that He died for.

Another religeous cow we need to slaughter is this. We have at some time or other probably been taught not to take communion if we are unworthy. This comes from scripture found in 1 Cor. 11 v 27.

1 Cor 11 v 27.....Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.....

The word unworthy in this scripture is an adverb referring to the way they were eating the Lord's supper. They were just chowing down on the bread and getting drunk on the wine with no reverance to the Lord and that this was His body and His blood. They were eating out of habit and not thinking about the Lord and what the wine (blood) and bread (body) represented.

Jesus blood washed you when He hung on the cross, once you have accepted Him, you can never be thought of as unworthy ever again. You are only thought of as a child of the Most High God and Jesus says you are worthy of His blood. So who is to tell you that you are not? AMEN!

Just as tithing is God's provision to remove the curse from our finances, so is Holy Communion His provision to allow us to walk in divine health, wholeness, peace, free from sickness, diseases, aging prematurely, being weak.

When we partake of Holy Communion, we are to remember what Christ did for us on the cross. The blood (wine) we drink is for our forgiveness of our sins that He died for, the body (bread) that we eat represents His stripes, that took away our sickness and disease. By His stripes we WERE healed. When we fail to understand this when we take the elements of Holy Communion then we are making light of the work Jesus paid for on the cross for us.

Here is a little tid-bit about the Jewish bread Matzah. The bread is made unleavened representing no sin, it is pierced with holes and striped, representing Jesus' body being pierced and the stripes He bore for us, next the bread is baked and burnt around the edges representing the full fury of God's wrath for the sins of the whole world as they fell upon Jesus and His body was burned. The fire should have fell on us. but Jesus endured it for us. You can find this bread at the grocery stores to use for your Holy Communion.

Oh yeh, that's right, you do not need a Pastor or a Priest or a Eucharistic Minister to give you Holy Communion. Jesus never said, go find a priest or a pastor to give you your Holy Communion. You can do this on your own and as often as you like as long as you do it in a worthy manner.

1 Cor. 11 v 26....For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death til He comes.......

Here is a prayer to help you get started receiving Holy Communion on your own or with your family as often as you need to.

Hold the bread in your hands and say this:

Thank you Jesus, for Your broken body. It is for my healing, my spouse's healing and my children's healing. Thank you that by Your stripes, by the beatings You bore, by the lashes which fell on Your back , we are completely healed. I believe and I receive. (Eat the bread)

Now, take the cup in your hand and say this:

Thank you Jesus, for the new covenant cut in Your blood. Your blood has brought me forgiveness, and washes me from every sin. I thank You that Your blood has made me righteous. And as I drink, I celebrate and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is preservation, healing, wholeness, and prosperity. (Take the cup)

Thank you Jesus, I love You because You first loved me. AMEN!

If you are struggling with anything in any area of your life. Jesus has already taken care of it for you. Take of His body and His blood and receive from Him through Holy Communion what He has already paid for, for you. If you need to take 3 times a day just like medicine then take 3 times a day. This is God's medicine, you can not overdose on it. AMEN!

Here are some channels to help you get through what you are dealing with, whether it be health issues, finance issues, relationship issues, whatever it might be. Use God's channels to get you through to the other side with the Victory.

1.) Pray, pray in the spirit. Are you baptized in the Holy Spirit?
2.) Search His word for what He says about your situation. His word is truth, and knowledge of His word will set you free.
3.) Take Holy Communion over it. See the finished work on the cross when you partake.

Asking Without Doubt

Today I heard a message that I have been hearing alot about lately. Doubting when we ask God for something. The word tells us to ask and not doubt and we shall have what we ask. The word says when we ask without faith, but rather have doubt, then we should not even think that we are going to receive anything. The message has been that we should not come to God until we can believe that we will receive. So that we are not like a double minded man, not knowing which way to go or which way to believe.

James 1 v 6-7....But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double minded man, unstable in all his ways.....

A good example of being of the right mindset would be in Mark 5 v 25-34 about the woman with the issue of blood. She was determined that if she only touched the hem of the garment of Jesus that she would be healed. She believed and was not going to be persuaded otherwise. Or how about in Mark 2 about the men who carried the paralytic to the house where Jesus was so that they could get their friend healed. They were determined and when the crowd was so big that they could not get through, they tore off the roof and let the man down through the roof. These men were obviously single minded about what they believed. When Jesus saw their faith He told the man to get up and take his bed and go home that his faith had made him whole, that he was healed. Jesus knew there was no doubt in their minds, just like the woman with the issue of blood, He knew there was no doubt in her heart, He saw her faith and told her she was healed. AMEN!

When we have an issue that we need the Lord to take care of, we first have to believe, so that we may receive. If we come to Him with doubt and unbelief then the word says do not suppose you will receive ANYTHING.

How do we become single minded instead of double minded in our faith? By renewing our minds with the word of God. We have to stay in the word to get a renewed mind. The teaching I heard today said it like this: "A renewed mind comes by acting out the word day after day in every situation."

Romans 12 v 1-2.....I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God......

This is what the message was about, you must have faith actions to get faith results. Our house must be built in the land of faith, most Christians have built their house between two lands, (faith and reason). We have to make up our minds where we are going to live. In faith or in reason. Faith is a substance of things hoped for, not seen. Remember what we said about hope. Our hope is in the Lord, He is our anchor. He is not going anywhere. He will always be there when we come to Him. Faith is not built on wishes or logic. Faith is in our Hope, In Jesus. AMEN!

Hebrews 11 v 1...Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.....

What About Forgiveness

You have heard me say before how if you do not forgive your brother, then your Father in heaven can not forgive you. Well, I was wrong. Yes, I know that is exactly what the scripture says, but the reason I was wrong, is because that was before Jesus died. Once Jesus died on the cross, He died for all sins past, present and future. We are future, and those who come after us are future. You see He died long before any of us were ever even thought about. Does this make us free to sin, as Paul said, God forbid. If we are children of Christ we will want to be like Christ, and the desire to sin will not be in our hearts. We are a new man. We are no longer the old man with a sinful nature, now we have the nature of Jesus. AMEN!

Now back to the forgiveness. Lets read what the scripture says....

Mark 11 v 25-26....And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.....

This scripture was written when Jesus was teaching on forgiveness. He had not went to the cross and died for our sins, our trespasses, our unforgiveness yet. When He died on the cross, He said Father forgive them, for they know not what they do. He was talking about everyone. He was asking for forgiveness for all, because He knew that we would not be able to live without sinning. You might say He figured this out while walking on earth among us.

You see that is the most important point that you need to get from this message, is that Jesus forgave you all your sins before you even sinned. Before you ever even knew you were going to sin, your sin was already washed in the blood. When we say that we must pay for our sins, we are putting ourselves above Jesus. We are saying that His blood was not good enough for our sins. When we continue to tell ourselves that we are sinners and we have to confess our sins, we are calling the word of God a lie. We will find in the word where it says in Romans 8 v 1, there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, and also in Hebrews 8 v 12, where it says He will be merciful to our unrighteousness and our sins He will remember no more. So you see before you ever sinned God had already forgiven you through His Son Jesus. He forgave everyone their sin, all you have to do is Confess Jesus as your Lord and acknowledge that He is the Son of God and believe that He has already died for your sins and rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father, letting Him know that you are under His blood. AMEN!

The blood of Jesus is powerful. Now some might say, well what about the scripture above that says that we can move mountains, that was before Jesus died. That's right, and when we became heirs with Christ we received all that the Father has to give us. Which means we received His power, His wholeness, His healing powers, His riches, and most importantly His FORGIVENESS. AMEN!

We need to be more careful how we read the scripture because bad teaching, and misunderstanding can lead us into condemnation, and this condemnation is not from God as we saw above, it is from the enemy. The enemy will use people to teach you wrong meaning of scripture, Sometimes as was in my case we just do not have the revelation of that scripture yet. That is why it is so important that you do not take my word for what I write, but you look in the word yourself and study it out. AMEN! Sometimes we are too well meaning for our own good. We need to make sure before we teach, or tell anyone what scripture says we make sure that we check two points. Are we causing condemnation to fall on those listening or reading, or are we sharing what Jesus told us to share, the good news, the gospel. Is what we are saying good news, or is it condemnation?

Change Your Wishes Into Hope

Hope in the Lord, not just empty wishes. That is what we need to be doing. When we are in trouble we do not need to be wishing for something to break through, no we need to put our hope in the Lord. We need to tap into our faith and see what He says about our Hope in Him.

Romans 5 v 1-5.......Therefore, having been justified through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith, into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perserverance; and perserverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint. because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.....

Did you catch that last part? Hope does not disappoint. In other words God will not disappoint you. He will do what He says He will do. AMEN! His word is truth, it is not just a book full of wishful thinking.

Hebrews 6 v 17-19......Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according the the order of Melchizedek......

This is how this verse is explained.

The Lord confirmed His oath to Abraham by swearing by Himself, because He alone is beyond deceit. The two immutable things are God's Word and God's oath. Since God does not lie and since He is all powerful, He will fulfill all His promises. This unchanging nature of God is the believer's consolation and encouragement. The believer's hope in Christ is secure, like an anchor, furthermore this anchor is not set in sand but in the very presence of the Almighty. Behind the veil refers to the Most Holy Place, the place where God dwells.

Now is that not much better than empty wishes, knowing that by putting our Hope where it belongs in Jesus, and knowing that God has swore Himself that He will fulfill the promises of Abraham, those promises are for us as well today. Read for yourself His promises in Deuteronomy 28, that He made to Abraham. Then re-read what He is saying to you in the scriptures above. You being the heirs of the promise, as we are all the heirs of Abraham. AMEN!.

Hebrews 6 v 13-14....For when God made a promise to Abraham because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply to you.".......

Things may look bad for you now, but don't get discouraged, get encouraged with the Hope you have in Jesus, get out His word and renew your mind with what He says He will do for you when you seek Him first. AMEN!

Remember the word says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It doesn't say the substance of things wished for.

Hebrews 11 v 1....Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen....

Who We Are

While studying my lesson for our class, I came across a statement that really jumped out at me. You know how sometimes you can be reading or studying the word and then there is always a verse that will jump off the page at you. Well, this statement jumped off the pages of my lesson at me yesterday and I wanted to share with the tid-bit readers as it goes right along with what I have been writing about lately.

God will never see you as a failure because Jesus is not a failure and you are in Christ Jesus.

Did you get that? You see once we got saved, we instantly are then in Jesus. What He has, we have. (and I can tell you, it's all good not bad). We are in Christ, now we start renewing our minds with the word.

Romans 8 v 15-17a.....For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father". The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ....

So when God looks at you it is Christ He sees.

2 Cor 3 v 18...."But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.....

We have to learn to see ourselves as in Christ. We have to quit just looking in the mirror or our surroundings in the natural, and see ourselves for who we are now in the super natural in the Spirit of Christ. For Christ now dwells in us. How do we do this? By staying in His word and reading everywhere it says In Christ, In Whom, In Him, we will see who we are In Him.

Back to the watermelon analogy. If there is a watermelon growing on a vine and the vine is healthy the watermelon will stay healthy. But if you cut that watermelon off from the vine, it will begin to wither and die. Jesus is our vine, He is our nourishment, if we abide in Him then we will have what He has. If we cut ourselves off from the vine (Jesus) then we will begin to wither and die. Then we set ourselves up for diseases, and sickness to come upon us. But if we are in Jesus then we can not have sickness in our bodies. We have to stay focused on the vine. On Jesus. We have to know without a doubt that there is no sickness in Jesus so there is none in you if you are in Christ. AMEN!

If we look in the mirror and we see sickness in our body, then we are looking at the flesh. We have to learn to look into our spirit man and see what God sees. We have to renew our minds with what God says, so that we can see ourselves in the spirit whole and healthy just like Jesus. How do we see that? Through His word. The flesh profits nothing, but His word is Truth. AMEN!

John 6 v 63..."It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.".....

Open the word and search out how many times you see the phrase In Him, In Christ, In Whom, and see just who you really are in Christ.

Thayer explains verse 15 of Romans 8 this way:

"The nature and condition of the true disciples of Christ, who by receiving the Spirit of God into their souls become the sons of God."......

That is who you are, sons and daughters of God the Father. You are seated up there with Christ with the Father. AMEN!

Ephes 2 v 4-6.....But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus......

He only has good for us, His children.

Ephes. 2 v 10.....For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them......

God already has a good life planned for you. A life of blessings, a life of peace, a life of being whole with Jesus. You have only but to accept it as a free gift. How? By accepting His Son as your Lord and Savior. AMEN!

Start confessing who you are in Christ:
I am a new creation
I am a Son of God with a Son's Inheritance
I have deliverance
I have Victory
I have Wisdom
All things are mine
I have peace
The list goes on and on. AMEN!

A Message From Jesus

Have you ever went to church somewhere only to be told how bad you are? How we are all sinners. How we need to repent and fall on our knees before God if we ever want to see heaven?

Well, here is the deal, that is not the message Jesus told us to preach. That is not the message Jesus told us to take into the world. SHOCK!

The message Jesus told us to take into the world was that God loved us so much He sent His only Son to die for us so that we could be reconciled to Him through Christ and have salvation through Christs' blood.

He didn't tell anyone to bring up all your sins and remind you of your sins. He said to confess Him as Lord, and we would be saved. He said He gave us a ministry of reconciliaton not condemnation. Once we make Jesus the Lord of our life, He says He remembers our sins no more. So if He remembers them no more, what gives anyone else the right to remind you of your sins. AMEN!!

2 Cor 5 v 17-21....Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconcilitation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ. as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.....

There is a plead here from God, a yearning for you to be reconciled to Him through His Son. God loves you so much that He is telling you, My Son has already paid the price for you, Please accept this free gift and let Me call you My child, just as I call Jesus My Son. Notice He said that He gave us the ministry of reconciliation, He said do not bring their sins into account, they have already been paid in full. He wants us to tell of His love for us so that we will come to Him when we have knowledge of His love, not because we are reminded of our sins.

Romans 5 v 8-11....But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliaton......

This is the Gospel, the good news Jesus told us to take into the world. That God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to die for us once and for all, so that we could be reconciled to Him once and for always. AMEN!

God knows who we are, what we have done, we do not have to come crawling before Him, to remind Him of all the wrong we have done, He already knows. No, We have only to confess His Son as our Lord and accept that the blood of Jesus covers us, and we are now a child of God, reconciled by the blood. AMEN!

Romans 6 v 8-11......Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise, you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.......

You see, Jesus died once and for all years ago, before you ever came into this world, before you ever committed your first sin, He already paid the price. All you have to do is confess Him as your Lord and Savior and receive this free gift. Receive the love God has for you.

Watch how your life will change, how your thinking will change, how your love walk toward others will change once you make Jesus Lord of your life. Become a joint heir with Christ today. Join the family of God, His house never fills up, there is plenty of room for everyone. AMEN!

How do you learn to live the life Jesus has for you?

We read the verse in scripture that says resist the devil and he shall flee from you. So during the day when something comes against us, we say, go away devil I am covered by the blood. You have to flee. But here is the question, How many times a day do you resist the devil? Where is your focus. Are you constantly reminded all day long of what the devil is trying to do to you? Then maybe your focus is too much on the devil and his acussations and not on God. You see the more time we spend with God in His word, the less time we have to be focused on the devil. You say, I can't just spend all day in the Word, I have things to do, I have to work. That's fine, but if the Word is in you then you can take the Word with you wherever you are at work, washing clothes, keeping kids, shopping, exercising, whatever you are doing, you can meditate on His word, and then the devil has no room to come in and accuse. AMEN!

James 4 v 7-8a....Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.Draw near to God and He will draw near to you....

IS 54 v 17....."No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."......

What is God telling us here? That once we are a child of His, there is nothing that the devil can accuse us of, he has no right to bring up our past, because Jesus has already taken care of it. He has already forgiven us, and now we are the righteousness of God through Jesus. The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy, so if you are having bad thoughts about yourself, know that this is not God convicting you, these are thoughts from the devil your accuser. Shut him up with the word of God by staying focused on what God's word says about His love for you, and don't give the devil a foothold into any area of your thoughts. AMEN!

Jesus said He leaves us with His peace, and with a sound mind. He says once we come to Him and repent of our sins, He remembers them no more. We have only to bring them up to Him once, and ask for His forgiveness, and He remembers them no more. The Holy Spirit is our comforter not our accuser, so when those sins creep up in your mind, that is not the Holy Spirit trying to convict you of something that you did wrong, remember Jesus said the Holy Spirit is our comforter, not our convicter. The verse above from IS 54 tells you this, when it says that every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. That verse tells you it is not the Holy Spirit convicting you of something because you can not condemn the Holy Spirit. AMEN! The accuser here is the devil trying to get your focus off what God has done for you, and get your focus on how unworthy you are. Remember if it is not good, it is not God.

If you haven't already made Jesus Lord of your life, then do it now. Don't wait. Don't let the devil continue to beat you up everyday for all of your past sins. Turn to Jesus instead and let Him share His love for you so that you can have peace and a sound mind, so that you can enjoy the blessings He wants to give you, so that you can share in His joy.

Pray this prayer,

Jesus, come into my heart. Lord I know you died on the cross for my sins, and you rose again so that I would not have to experience the pains of death. Lord Jesus, I ask you to take my life, and to forgive me where I have sinned. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, Lord, I want to live for you. AMEN.

There will be a feeling of freedom now in you. A freedom from your past, present and future sins. He has already forgiven you for them all. He will not accuse you of anything, but He will be there to catch you when you fall. When you get turned around and things seem to be going the wrong way, STOP, and turn to Him and He will always provide a way out. If you will stay in His word and get it deep in your heart so that you can meditate on it throughout your day you will drown out what the devil is trying to say to you. AMEN!

Pray For Godly Leadership

You can tell who knows the word of God and who does not by the use of their own words coming from their mouths. Those of us who read the word know that the word tells us to put a watch on our words when we speak them. What we speak is what we are going to get according to the word.

Prov. 6 v 2....you are snared by the words of your mouth, you are taken by the words of your mouth.....

Prov 13 v 3....He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction....

We can tell who knows the word by those who pray for our leadership, people in authority over us for example our President, instead of complaining about our leadership. How can we tell? Let's see what the word says.

1 Tim 2 v 1-2....Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence....

What's my point? Glad you asked, My point is this, that when all we do is walk around bad mouthing our system, our leaders, our president, then we are going to get just exactly what we are saying about them. But if we use the word of God, and pray for those in leadership, in authority, then we are giving power over to God's word and not our own words. AMEN!

So the next time someone sends you a negative email, or starts speaking negative about our leadership, our President or any who are in authority, close your ears to what they are saying, don't give room in your heart to receive that message and instead speak the word of God over it so that the negative message becomes null and void. AMEN!

Father we come to you today and we ask for blessings over our nation. We ask for blessings over our leadership. We ask for safety over our president and his family, and all others who work in authorative positions. We ask Lord, that you bless each one in authority with your divine wisdom and understanding of your word. Father that you would give them direction in all their decision making. Thank you Lord for our leaders, and thank you for guiding them on your path. AMEN.

How do you know the right words to speak and pray?

I Stand Corrected

While going through the new members class at our church and reading over some material that was given to us, I have been given a revelation of how sometimes when I say things in these tid-bits, it could be confusing to those who might not be in the same place as I am. In other words, I say things that I understand what I am saying but there may be some new Christians out there or people who are not yet Christians that could read these things wrong. Remember the name God's tid-bits to me, the things I say is what I feel God is saying to me in particular. So today I am going to start fresh with a new message that will hopefully clear some of these things up.

Salvation. What is salvation? Can you earn salvation? What do you have to do to receive salvation? Who gives us salvation?

1. What is salvation? Webster's dictionary:
a. to save, deliverance from the power and effects of sin, preservation from destruction or failure
b. deliverance meaning to be delivered from something, or someone, rescued

These are all words that the bible uses when talking about your salvation, when you accept Jesus as your Lord, He delivers us from sin, He rescues us from hell, He has freed us from the law.

2. Did you earn that salvation?
a. No, you can not earn your salvation. Salvation is given to you freely from Jesus. Salvation was taken care of on the cross before you or I were ever even born

Romans 5 v 8-9....But, God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.....

Romans 10 v 13....But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach); that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." For the scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved......

Read that scripture carefully, does it say you must confess your sins? No! You see by saying that you must confess your sins to be saved is saying that Jesus must get back on that cross and die for you or anyone else everytime they confess their sins. No! He has already died for your sins before you were ever born. He died for everyone. Not just you or me, not just the Jew or Greek, but everyone. We already know that we are sinners and so does He. Salvation has already been given to us freely. All we have to do is confess that He is Lord and believe in our hearts that He has already died for our sins and freed us from hell. Then we have to accept this free gift of salvation.

3. What do you have to do to receive salvation?
a. we answered that one above as well. we confess that Jesus is Lord

4. Who gives us salvation?
a. Jesus paid for our salvation on the cross with His blood, it was nothing any of us did. It was
His blood that paid the price for all.

So here is the deal. If at any time I have ever made you feel like you had to work or that it is by some works of yours that gets you to heaven, or gets you healed, or brings you blessings then you have misunderstood me. You can not earn salvation, you can not earn healing, you can not earn prosperity. You can not earn any of the blessings of the Lord. They are given freely to all. They were all paid for on the cross before you or I were ever born. They were paid for in full for everyone.

You do not have to have this giant faith to get you healed. You only need to have faith of a mustard seed in you. You only have to believe in your heart that Jesus has already paid the price for your wholeness on the cross. Wholeness meaning, well, healthy, prosperous, blessed, redeemed. AMEN! You only have to see your wholeness up there on the cross paid for, instead of trying to get Him to do something for you now that He has already taken care of. Start praising Him and thanking Him for these things, instead of asking Him to do them over again.

2 Corinthians 5 v 21...For He made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him...

Our sin is remembered no more when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Romans 6 v 14...for sin shall have no dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace...

God knew that we could not uphold the law. He knew that we would always fall short, so He provided a way for us to be free from the curses of not upholding the law. He gave His only Son on the cross for us.

Does this give us freedom to sin? People will ask this question. The answer is, we will no longer want to sin willfully when we know Jesus as our Lord. We will want to walk as He did. We will want to know Him more, and we will want to be more like Him. Our old man has gone and we will renew our minds with the mind of Christ who lives in us now. AMEN!

Romans 12 v 2....and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.....

So bottom line, when I use phrases like when you do not take the word of God for truth you are calling Him a liar, I am not trying to condemn you, I am just trying to stir you up to read the word for yourselves. I am not your judge. Thank goodness, we are not here to judge each other unjustly but to exhort each other with the good news, the gospel of the Lord.

Jesus told us to go out into all the world and take His gospel. Gospel meaning good news, not condemnation. He never told us to go out and preach hell fire and condemnation on any one. He told us to preach the good news. The news of what He did on the cross for all, and what we now have because of that.

So remember, when I am speaking on subjects that you may feel condemnation over, know that I am speaking what the Lord has given to me that day. I am only sharing with you what He is saying to me through His word. If there is any condemnation it is not from me, or from the Lord. The Lord does not condemn the devil does. The Lord says once become a child of Christ, and you are walking with Him in the Spirit and not in the flesh, you are free from condemnation. So if you are feeling condemnation, check to see if you are trying to walk in the flesh. When you walk in the flesh you give the devil (not Jesus) room to come in and bring you under condemnation.

Romans 8 v 1....There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit....

My final suggestion to all today is to read the entire book of Romans. Don't ever think that I know it all, because I am still myself learning everyday from His word. What I get from His word may not be what you get that day. Don't take my word to be final. Take His word. AMEN!

RED YELLOW BLACK AND WHITE

Do you remember the song we learned as a child in Sunday School. Jesus loves the little children of the world. Red and Yellow, Black and White, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Now some of you are probably concerned more about the political correctness of me using red, yellow, black and white to describe the children that you have missed the whole point in the song. If we can get over political correctness for just a moment and stay focused on the message we will be blessed. AMEN!

The point here is that Jesus loves us ALL the same. And it is not just the little children He loves, it is everyone, no matter your age, no matter your color, no matter your background, no matter where you live on this earth. He loves us all the same. He created us all. We didn't come from apes, or a big explosion, no God created man and then breathed life into his nostrils. The very breath of God is in each of us.

Genesis 2 v 7.....And the LORD GOD formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being....

I have not found where it says the man was red, yellow, black or white?? So therefore I am guessing that the Lord did not find this of any importance. So why do we try to make such an issue of what color someone is. It is because of wrong teaching that has been handed down through generations. It is because when sin entered the world, hatred was part of that sin. What we teach our children is not just in what we say but also we teach them by our actions, how we treat others. Once we become of an accountable age, we can choose whether we will carry this hatred with us or leave it at the cross. Because hatred, predjudice is a sin.

Let's see what God says about how we are to treat one another.

John 13 v 34...A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another....

To love as He has loved us. I feel we have all missed the mark there with that commandment at sometime in our lives. Since one another means everyone.

John 15 v 12...This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.....

Romans 13 v 8....Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.....

1 Thes 4 v 9....But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another...

1 Pet 1 v 22....Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart....

1 John 3 v 11....for this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.....

1 John 4 v 7-8...Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love, does not know God, for God is love....

WOW!
That one probably stepped on some toes.

2 John v 6....This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it....

Why do you think God says over and over again in His word that we should walk in love with one another? Because He knew hatred and predjudice would enter the world, and He knew that we would fall into the sin of it, so He provided us a way out. He gave out of His love for ALL (red, yellow, black and white) His only Son, so that we could ALL be forgiven this sin of hatred. It grieves His heart when we walk in hatred and predjudice toward anyone, because we are ALL created equal, we are ALL His children, no matter our skin color.

I challenge anyone to show me in the word of God where He says, Jesus died for only a certain color of people. Jesus died for ALL.

1 Cor 13 v 11-13....When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide in faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love....

What are we teaching our children about how to love everyone, not just our own race? What are we saying when we do not show love toward one another, (meaning everyone)? What are we teaching them when we tell jokes using one race or another? What are we teaching them when we make negative comments about another race or culture?

Let us make sure that 1 John 4 v 7-8 does not step on our toes or the toes of our children. Let us make sure that our children know that we do know God, and that we have the love of God in us to share with others no matter who they are.

If you want to know more about this love of God. Seek His face. But I have to warn you, He won't be the same color as you are no matter what the color.

Where Is The Power

The power to withstand the attacks of the devil are within us. That means within you, and within me. This is good news. We had an awesome message last night about the power being within us. And there were some scriptures shared that came to light for me. Also, this morning after reading one of my devotionals I saw again where the power lies. It does not lie in the church, in your Pastor, in the TV evangelists, no the power you need to conquer your battle lies within you.

One of the scriptures used last night was in Romans, where it is talking about Abraham being old, (about a hundred) and Sarah his wife being as old, and God told him that he would father many nations. Now remember, Abram did not have any children as of yet (and he is a hundred) and here is Sarah who is barren, (can't have children) and God says you will father many nations. WOW! Now let's look at this today. If you were say 85 and your wife was 80 and she has been barren all her life, and God spoke to you and said you will have a child and he will start a long line of heirs for you. Would you believe Him? Would you have enough faith in what God says to be able to see yourself with a son, and many heirs to follow. Let's try something simpler. Say God tells you that you are healed from some disease the doctor says you have. Would you believe what He says or what the doctor says. Can you see yourself healed, or do you see yourself sick?

Is 53 v 5....But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.....

Here is where the power comes in. Look at how Abraham responded to what God had said.

Romans 4 v 19-21....And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised, He was also able to perform........

You see Abraham did not look at his circumstances. He was determined to believe that what God says, He will do. AMEN! And so now today we are all descendants of Abraham. He saw himself old and questioned hence why we have Ishmael, Hagars' son. That is another story but you see Abraham did struggle at first, and Sarah even laughed at what the Lord had said, and the Lord questioned Abraham, does she think that anything is too hard for the Lord to do? Whoa! Do we question the Lord's ability when we do not believe and do not receive what He has already done for us?

Another part of this scripture tells us that what God did for Abraham was not just for him. The power God gave Abraham is also given to us through His Son Christ Jesus.

Romans 4 v 23-25....Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.....

The power that works in Jesus works in us, those of us who believe in Him. AMEN!

Now here is where the faith comes from to believe.

Romans 10 v 17....So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God....

Now look with me and see where the word tells us that whatever we ask for, whatever we believe we receive, we will have.

Mark 11 v 24......Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.....

So my question to you is this. When you pray for your healing do you see yourself healed, or do you see yourself sick. What you see unfortunately is what most people believe. If you have to see something to believe it, then don't pray for your healing until you see yourself healed. Don't pray for your finances to be restored, if you still see yourself poor. Wait until you see yourself prospering.

Well, what does that statement say? It says that you are putting your belief in only what you can see. The word tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things NOT seen.

Heb. 11 v 1.....Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.....

Could Abraham see himself a father at a hundred years old? Not without his faith in what God says is true. He first had to believe then he could see in the unnatural world not just in the natural. He had to tap into the power that was within him to be able to believe while his circumstances did not seem to fit with what God said.

Jesus tells his disciples to tarry in the city, until the power from on high comes to them. Why? He did not want them trying to just get by, He wanted them to have the same power He had, so that they could do the same works that He did while here on earth.

Luke 24 v 49...."Behold I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high"........

Next time you pray and ask God for something, see it as done, see that you have the power within you to do whatever God asks you to do. Tap into His power that is within you, then and only then will you reach your full potential God has for you.

When things look like there is no way out, remember what Paul and Silas did when they were locked in prison in chains. They tapped into that power that was within them. How? By praying and singing and worshiping the LORD. If you want to release that potential in you, release the power within you, then start praising Him and worshiping Him, and giving Him the glory, and the chains will fall off and the doors will be unlocked, so that you can reach your goal.

Acts 16 v 25-26.......But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.....

This is good news. God gave each of us the power to loose our own chains. We do not have to stand in a prayer line waiting for our turn. The power lies within you and me. AMEN! Find that power, stir it up.

Walking Like Jesus In Divine Compassion

We are in the second step of walking like Jesus at church. Walking in divine compassion. Would that not be great if we all had the divine compassion Jesus has for us? What a great world this would be. We can have that divine compassion. We can find it in His word. Pastor told us Sunday that to walk in divine nature like Jesus we must first have knowledge of who He is. We must first be able to recognize Him and His finished work on the cross.

You see through His finished work on the cross, you can have the promises in His word. To walk in the promises of His word would make it easy to walk in divine compassion as He did. This is where we usually miss the boat. We are still asking for things that have already been done. Things that have already been given to us. It is like the light is on, but nobody's home.

Jesus is the light, and He has already shown us in His word, (or I could say shone His light on His word) just a little play with words there, how we can attain all the blessings, all the gifts that He died on the cross for. He is the fulfillment of the promises in His word. He is the finished work on the cross. Our part is to come home to the light so to say, our part is simply this, to believe and receive.

Once we believe and receive all He has given us, then we can walk in divine nature as He did, and others will see God through us. That is what He wants for His people. He wants everyone to know Him and the Father and to receive all the blessings He has for us. His wish is that none would perish but that ALL would come to Him. AMEN!

So how do we walk like Jesus here on earth, we first need to have knowledge of His word, then we need to believe it, receive it, and then share it with others. When we share His love with others, we are walking in His divine nature. What does His word say about love? Glad you asked.

1 Cor 13 v 1- 8a......Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; loves does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.......

Each of us should make this our goal, to actually walk out what the word says love is. We are not there yet. We should put this scripture before our eyes and in our hearts each and every day. If we will set ourselves each day to walk in this kind of love, then and only then will we walk as Jesus did with divine compassion for our neighbor. Who is our neighbor? Glad you asked.

Our neighbor is everyone, red, yellow, black and white. Our neighbor is not just who lives next door in your fancy neighborhood, our neighbor is not just your friends and family, our neighbor is not just people of the same culture or color as you are. Our neighbor is EVERYONE God created. And God created us ALL. AMEN!

When we walk in love toward each other (everyone) then and only then will we walk like Jesus did here on earth.

Do You Think It Is Useless

When you give your tithes, do you think it is useless? Do you feel like you are seeing no rewards or blessings from giving? Have you quit giving because you thought you weren't getting back your fair share of blessings, or because you thought you needed that money more to pay bills? Some of you might think how can she say such a thing, but I am telling you there are people who think this way. To be honest, I myself have made comments like, I have sown so much of this into this, but I am still struggling. So be honest with yourself and repent with me now for when we have said such things. Let me show you why.

In Malachi chapter 3, one of my favorite passages of scripture about giving. In fact the scriptures that gave me revelation about giving, is a very important message about complaining about your giving as well. Yeh! You see first we read Mal. 3 v 9-10, and we see how we are suppose to give and the Lord is going to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings. HALLELUJAH! We stop there for a while and park. Then we get a revelation of Mal. 3 v 11-12, where God is going to rebuke the devourer, so that our seed can not be destroyed, so that our seed will bring us fruit. AMEN! Then we park there for a while and rejoice in His word.

Well, now it is time to move on. Let's look at Mal. 3 v 13-15. Put your seat belts on because this is going to be a rough ride for some.

Mal 3 v 13-15...."Your words have been harsh against Me," says the Lord. "Yet you say, 'what have we spoken against You?'. "You have said, 'It is useless to serve God; what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of Hosts?" So now we call the proud blessed, for those who do wickedness are raised up; they even tempt God and go free."......

Let me break it down for you. When we complain and say I have been giving and giving and nothing is coming back to me, why am I struggling when I tithe like I am suppose to? Why do those people who do not even worship or believe in the Lord have so much?

STOP! The Lord says we are speaking harsh words against Him when we do this. We are getting into envy and jealousy over what others have. When we do this, when we say these things, we might as well call God a liar. That's right. That is how harsh our words are against Him. Did He not say that He would open the windows of heaven, then why are you saying He has not done anything for you?

Now let me take this a step further and show you what else this says to me. You can read it for yourself and see. When we do not do what Mal. 3 v 10 tells us to do, when we do not tithe and give to God so that He can bless us, when we do not trust in His word to do what He is telling us to do here in this scripture, then we might as well throw out the whole book and not trust in Him for our healing, our salvation, our victory over what ever battle we are facing, because we can not believe Him in one part of His word, and call Him a liar in another. It just doesn't make any sense to say you believe Him in one area but not in another when He has said Himself that His word shall not come back to Him void. His word is TRUTH. So when we murmur and complain that we are not being blessed we are using harsh words against our God. AMEN!

Mal. 3 v 9-15....."Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of Hosts; and all the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land, says the Lord of Hosts."

"Your words have been harsh against Me, says the Lord, 'Yet you say, 'what have we spoken against You?' You have said, 'It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of Hosts? So now we call the proud blessed, for those who do wickedness are raised up; they even tempt God and go free.' "....................................

We need to put a watch on our words. When we speak this way we are saying in a word that it is useless to do what God says, we are eating our own seeds that we have sown. Not only that but we are saying that we do not believe the words God spoke to us, we are calling Him a liar. Remember we do not sow out of law but out of cheerful, willing hearts that are trusting in the LORD. If you are giving any other way than willingly and cheerfully, if you are giving grudingly, and regretfully, then you might as well be throwing your money into the toilet.

I mean would you go to the store and buy your groceries, pay for them then walk out without them, just leave them there. No, what good is your food going to do you if you don't take it home and eat it. You will get no value from it whatsoever if you do not eat what you bought. Right! The same is true with your tithes. If you do not give trusting and expecting to receive from the Lord then you are doing the same thing, walking off without your food. If you go to church and do not go in trusting and expecting to receive a word from the Lord, then you are doing the same here as well. The Lord says to give so that there may be food in His house. His word is all the food you need. His word will show you where your blessings come from. His word will bring you your healing. But His word does you no good if you do not trust and believe in Him. AMEN!

You Can't Take What Belongs To God

You can not be taken out of God's hands when you belong to Him. Have you ever had anyone snatch something away from you. To abrubtly grab something out of your hands. Well, God says you will not snatch what belongs to Him.

John 10 v 27-30...."My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one.".......

If there is any snatching to be done, it will be the Father doing the snatching. He tells us in another part of His word, where He will snatch us out of harms way. Pastor showed this to us Wed. night how the word delivered used in these scriptures, literally means to snatch away or provide a way out. Let's look.

PS 91 v 3.....Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence....

PS 91 v 14a...."Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;"......

God tells us He will deliver us when we abide in Him. When we seek Him for deliverance. He will either snatch us away or He will show us through His word a way to escape. AMEN!

One way of deliverance is when we come to Him and worship Him. We see in Matthew over and over again times when people needed healing, and they came to the Lord and they worshiped Him and then they ask for their healing and He healed them. Healing comes with faith and worship.

Matt 8 v 2-3....And behold a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing: be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.....

Immediately Jesus snatched him out of that sickness. AMEN!

Matt. 9 v 18-19....While He spoke these things to them, behold a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live." So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples....
Matt 9 v 25....But when the crowd was put outside, and He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.....

Jesus snatched her from death. AMEN!

Matt 15 v 25...Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord help me!"...
Matt 15 v 28....Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour....

Jesus didn't immediately repsond to this lady, in fact in the scriptures in between He all but ignored her pleas, and so much as called her a dog, but when she fell and worshiped Him, and recognized Him as her Master, then He saw her faith, and her daughter was snatched away from the demons possessing her. He showed her the way out through worship and faith and not from begging and pleading. AMEN!

What is it that you need from the Lord? Instead of coming and begging Him for it. Why not try getting down on your knees and coming to Him in an attitude of worship and praise, and then ask for what you need and it will be given unto you according to your faith. AMEN!

Don't let the enemy hold you in bondage, in sickness, in poverty, in unrest. No look to the Lord with your worship to Him and let Him snatch you out of that grip the enemy has on you. AMEN!

What Is Your House Built On

When I say your house, I am talking about your spiritual house. I am talking today about your body, your mind, your health, your future, your life.

Do you exercise your physical body? Do you eat healthy foods? If you say no, then how can you expect your physical body to last you for the duration of a long life. God says He will satisfiy us with long life. He wants to do just that, and He will do His part, but you have to do your part as well. You can't keep feeding your body junk and expect it to last. When God created us, He created us with alot of joints in our body. A joint is meant to be moved, otherwise why would you need them? Right! So if He gave us all these joints, I believe He meant for us to use them. You can't use them sitting on the couch or laying in that recliner all day. God did not make us to be sedentary creatures. He made us to get up and move. (Exercise) Hello!

Then what about the spiritual part of our body? We have to build this house as well. The question is what are you building on? Are you building on the rock, are you building on the word of God? Or are you building on sinking sand? Now probably most of you just said you are building on the word of God. Are you really? Let's check and see. You may be trying to build on the rock, but let me ask you this. How many times do you remove the nails (the words of God) you put in your house by saying something like, I am sick, I am broke, I don't know how I will get by, oh woe is me, what will happen to me now? You better stop now with that kind of talk or you will pull out every nail you put in. You see when you speak those negative things, words that do not line up with God's words, then you cancel out His words. When you start believing the things of the world, your circumstances then you have put your faith there and no longer in God's word. Get ready, hold on, you have pulled out all your nails and now your house is about to fall.

God says that if you will keep His words, and do them He will liken you to the man who built his house on the rock, but if not, you will be like the man who built his house on sinking sand. AMEN!
You see, He wasn't talking about a house literally, He was talking about your spirit, your well being, your life. AMEN!

Matthew 7 v 24-25......."Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.....

Do you see that? When trouble comes, when deadly diseases come, when terrorists come, when poverty strikes, when the enemy comes at you with all he has, and you are doing the word of God, you are dwelling in Him, you are standing firm on His word, then your house will not be shakened. AMEN!

Now let's see what happens when you cancel out His words with the bad reports, with the words from the world, words you speak out of your mouth that do not line up with His words.

Matthew 7 v 26-27....."But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall........

God did not intend for us to be lazy Christians. He gave us His word, a help manual, if you will, on how to live our lives. We have to be diligent in seeking Him and His word about our situations. We have to speak His words with our mouths and not negative words that the enemy uses to tear down our houses. We have to be determined to stand on His promises and His words and not the words of the world. What are you building your house on, and what are you putting into your house? Will your house withstand the rains, the winds and the fire? Yes even the fire. When you make Jesus Lord of your life, your house will even stand against the fire. AMEN!

PS 91 v 16.....With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation....

Let's use God's word and build our houses on the rock. AMEN!

Angels Angels Everywhere

Do this with me. Close your eyes, relax, now I want you to see your MIGHTY WARRIOR ANGELS surrounding you. Just stay right where you are and take a good look at them. Swords drawn, ready to do battle on your behalf.

Now how do you turn these angels from statutes just standing there to action? With the word of God. Angels hasten to the word of God. They respond only to His word. This is why it is so important that you know the word, so that you can set your angels into motion. You have to be able to speak the word of God to them, so that they can go into action.

Here is an example: When you send your kids off to school each day, before you send them, do you pray over them? Everyday first thing I pray over Rob and I and our children and parents. I pray PS 91 over us, that the Lord would send His angels to encamp around us, to surround us throughout the day, to keep all harm and evil away from us, no matter where we are, in the workplace, at home, in our vehicles, and Lord send them to encamp around my children and our parents as well. But most of all, Lord, keep us safe and in your protection this day, keep us under your annointing, under your covering, under your wing Oh Lord, and in your favor. Thank you Lord that we have your excellent divine health from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet and everything in between. Thank you Lord, that my children and parents walk in this as well. Thank you Lord for our Salvation and I call each one of my children saved in the name of Jesus. Thank you for their salvation Lord. In Jesus name AMEN AMEN AMEN!

How long did it take you to read that above paragraph? Well that is all the time it takes for you to make sure your children are covered each day before they walk out the door. AMEN! Surely you can spare that little bit of time to cover your child. You wouldn't let your child walk out in the snow without shoes on to go to school would you? Well, it is even more important that you cover them with the word of God before they leave. AMEN! My boys are both grown, but I still pray over them and their wives every day. They still get in vehicles and drive, they travel, they go to work, they still need God's protection in their lives. They still need their angels activated by the word of God. AMEN! We never get too grown up that we do not need our angels protecting us.

PS 91 v 10-12.....No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone......

How did Jesus defeat the devil? With the word of God. He said it is written, and quoted the devil scripture everytime he tempted Him. The devil even quoted scripture back to Jesus, trying to trick Him, only he was quoting in wrong context and Jesus knowing the word, quoted it back to him in the correct context.

Matt 4 v 5-7....Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set him on the pinacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, and In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God."...

So here is my question to you. If Jesus had to know the word, (and HE IS THE WORD), and use the word to fight His battles, why would you be any different? Why would you think that you can get the job done without the word of God? How do you think without studying the word of God and getting the word into your hearts you will be able to defeat your enemies when they come against you? Like I said above, JESUS IS THE WORD, and He knew He had to use the word to fight His enemy. Satan.

If you doubt the powers the angels have, just check them out in the word. One example is when Herod was talking to the people and they were putting him up there with God, and he didn't correct them but instead was enjoying their adoration to him, trying to glorify himself instead of God. Immediately an angel struck him. God's word will win out everytime.

Acts 12 v 21-24....So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, "the voice of a god and not of a man!" Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. But the word of God grew and multiplied....

Now close your eyes again, relax, and picture your MIGHTY WARRIOR ANGELS standing at attention around you, waiting for your signal, The Word Of God. Speak the word out loud and put your angels into motion each day. AMEN! Don't leave home without them.

Who Has Control Of My Tongue

Do you have control over your tongue? The word tells us, the tongue is full of deadly poison.Didn't Jesus show us this when He cursed the fig tree, and then the fig tree died. He didn't touch the tree, he didn't yank it up or chop it down. He spoke to the tree what would happen. AMEN!

Matt 21 v 18-19....Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away.....

James 3 v 8....but no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison....

Prov. 18 v 21....Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.....

Our words have power in the Spirit realm. When we speak the words we set them into motion in the spirit realm. When we say, I am sick, I feel bad, I am so poor, I am miserable, I can't do it, I can't go on, I can't handle anymore, etc. When we speak these things we set them in motion in the spirit realm. We are confusing our angels who have charge over us. We say on one hand that we are healed, then we call someone and tell them what is ailing us. The angels are saying which way do I go, which way do I go? They are thinking, she can't make up her mind if she is healed or sick.

When someone gives us a bad report, we either receive that report, or we can rebuke that report and say what the word says instead.

IS 53 v 5....But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed....

We are healed. Not we are going to be healed. Not that "if it is God's will we will be healed." Think about that statement for a minute. That is one of the biggest lies Christians repeat over and over again. Think how stupid that sounds. God probably cringes everytime a Christian makes that statement. If you believe that it is God's will for you to be sick, to be poor, to die before your days are completed, then you have bought into the devils lies and you do not know anything about the word of God. Nowhere in the bible does it ever say that God's will for us is to die an early death, or to be sick, or to be poor. In fact it says just the opposite. Jesus says that He came to give us life to enjoy, and an abundance of it. He says we are seated with Him in heavenly places with His riches and glory. He says by His stripes we are healed. We are healed. AMEN!
If it is God's will for us to die, then you might as well quit taking your medicine, I mean if it is His will, then aren't you going against His will if you are trying to stay alive, you might as well quit asking people to pray for you to be healed if it is His will for you to die, you might as well quit working and quit tithing if it is His will for you to be poor. Does that or does that not sound ridiculous? Be Honest! Let the word speak for itself. AMEN! Quit putting words in God's mouth.

It is time we take Jesus down off that cross. We have to see Jesus as the finished work on the cross. He is not still up there working on getting you healed. He has already healed you with His stripes. He is no longer on the cross, He is seated at the right hand of the Father. He claimed the work on the cross as finished when He said it is finished. AMEN!

John 6 v 63...It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.....

Jesus tells us here that His words are life to us. When we read His word, when we speak His word, we are speaking life and health to ourselves. AMEN! Did you ever read anywhere in the bible where Jesus spoke sickness or poverty to anyone?

Do you really think that Jesus would have suffered all that He did, beatings, scourgings, hanging on the cross for nothing? Do you think that when God said by His stripes you were healed, that He meant, until you mess up, or until Jesus changes his mind and takes away your healing? How absurb does that sound? But that is basically what you are saying when you say you are sick. You are in fact calling Jesus a liar, because He said you are healed. AMEN!

IS 45 v 22-23....Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath...

If it has a name it has to bow to the name of Jesus. When you speak God's word over whatever it is that is trying to come against you, it has to bow to the name of Jesus. It has to bow down and succumb to the power of Jesus which works in you. If you give it a name it has to bow to the Name above all names, JESUS. Poverty, Cancer, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Prostate problems, Kidney problems, Lung problems, Asthma, whatever the name you give it. IT HAS TO BOW TO THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN!

You had better open your mouth and speak to that enemy in the name of Jesus. You had better put that under your feet like the word says. You are the head, not the tail. You have the power of Jesus in you, you can choose to use it, or let it sit there and let your enemy take you over. You can activate your angels, or you can have lazy angels hanging around you. You decide. When you speak the word of God, your angels who have charge over you go into action.

PS 103 v 20....Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word....

The angels have to move when you speak the word of God. They have to hearken unto His word. It is their job. AMEN! (these are not little cute cherubs, these are MIGHTY WARRIOR ANGELS)

You have no reason to fear as a child of God. God has given angels charge over you. When the president sends his children out with their bodyguards, he better make sure he activates the angels of God over his children as well. God's angels who He has given charge over us to protect us are much more mightier, much more capable, much more able to protect us than any hired earthly body gaurd. AMEN! (I just pray the president knows this fact.)

PS 91 v 9-13....Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.....

It is time that you start using your tongue to your benefit. That you use it to confess the word of God over yourself and not the word of men. It is time you put that enemy on the run with the word of God. The word says that when you resist the devil he must flee. AMEN. It is time to start training your tongue to talk the right way God's way, and not the world's way. You may have to learn a new language, but I promise you, it is worth it. Your life depends on it. AMEN!

It is worth taking a few seconds before you speak to think about what you are about to say. To choose your words carefully. Think, are these words bringing life or death to me?

You need to know that in Proverbs 3 v 19 says ....Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart....

Mercy and Truth are God's words. AMEN!

Proverbs 29 v 25....The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe...

The word says whoever, that means you and me. Don't let fear from something man has said enter into your heart, but keep it out with the word of God. Meditate on His word, and not the word of man. AMEN! Don't get caught up in fears trap.

IS 54 v 17...."No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness comes from Me" says the Lord....

The weapon may form, the disease might form, but it will not prosper. Rebuke whoever is speaking this against you, whether it be the doctor or a family member buying into what the reports of man say, REBUKE it with the word of God. You have the word of God to fight your battles. Use it and you will win, as Jesus has already won the victory for you.

To know what words to speak over yourself and your family, to know how to pray efficiently over yourself and your family, To learn how to control your tongue and speak God's way, you have to know the word of God.

Getting Connected

Are you connected to a church? How connected are you to the Holy Spirit within you? Can you hear Him clearly when He speaks to you? Do you just get inklings, or feelings, stirrings? If so then that is probably angels speaking to you, but when the Holy Spirit speaks you will hear precise words.

In other words when angels speak, you may feel a stirring in your spirit to do something, or go somewhere, you just have that strong stirring. When the Holy Spirit speaks, you will hear definite words telling you what to do. We must learn to be obediient to the Spirit when He speaks, and we must learn to discern when angels are speaking.

How do we do this? We have to practice getting quiet and listening. We need to learn to be still, be observant in our surroundings. This is a message I heard today, and it really stirred me up about being more obedient to the Holy Spirit.

One way is by being connected in your church, or if you do not have one, find one and get connected. We all need a church home. We need our spiritual families. This can be a matter of life and death.

In Genesis we read where Issac had went to a land the Lord told him to go to, and when he got there, he was afraid to tell people that Rebekah was his wife, because he was afraid for his life. But then King Abimelech found out the truth and told his people no one was to touch him or his wife. So Issac sowed in the land, and reaped a hundredfold the same year, the Lord had blessed him. First of all God told Issac to go, so he should have known he would be safe, second, Issac was Abrahams' seed that would make many nations, so his purpose was not fulfilled, so he should not have feared. (But that is all easy for us to say we have hindsight in the matter).
Anyway, when the king saw how Issac was prospering, he could see the hand of the Lord on Issac, and he knew that he wanted to be under that covenant, under that covering, under that teaching. AMEN!

The same is true with us today. If you are going to a church where you feel like nothing is growing, where no one is prospering, where people are constantly sick and moaning and complaining, then you might want to check what your pastor is teaching, or what he is not teaching, or maybe you are disconnected. You know when the Holy Spirit is present in a church, when you see healings happening, people prospering, people happy and healthy, positive and encouraging. This is the covering you want to be connected to. But that is just it, you have to be connected. Your pastor can be bringing you a message from God each week, but you are sitting there thinking about what you are going to eat for lunch, or how beautiful the day is, and you could be golfing, then you are connected to your thoughts and you are missing out on the message God gave your pastor. Don't be too quick to blame the pastor if you are not being fed. He can only bring the word to you, he can not force you to eat. AMEN!

Oh yes, you will have gossips, and negative people everywhere, but you just steer clear of them and stay focused on the pastor and his teaching and his annointing. If you are being obedient to the word, and you are doing what the word says, and the annointing is flowing, you will have blessings pouring out on you and filling up your storehouses. You will watch your words and choose them carefully. You will be praising and thanking the LORD everyday for your healing, your abundance, your annointing from Him. You will be prosperous, happy, whole and at peace. AMEN! You will be satisfied with what the Lord gives you each day. Why? Because that is what the word says and you know the word, your pastor is getting God's message to you, your receiving that message and those blessings. AMEN!

Gen 26 v 28....But they said, "We have certainly seen that the Lord is with you. So we said, 'Let there now be an oath between us, between you and us: and let us make a covenant with you.".......

When you go to a church but you do not join, you do not participate, you do not tithe, you are not really connected. You are just a visitor. You are not under that covering. To be under the Pastor's annointing, under the covering of that church, you must be a participant, you must join, you must participate, you must tithe. You have to get connected to be under the covering. AMEN!

Then as you learn the word, you will become more connected to your spirit man, you will be more intuned when He speaks to you. You will be able to discern when the angels are stirring you up. You will be able to tell whose voice it is you are listening to. How? Because the voice will line up with the word of God. If you are hearing something that does not go along with the word, then it is not of God. AMEN! By attending church and being fed and by keeping the word in front of your eyes on a daily basis, (not just on Sundays) then you will know the Lord's voice and what His word says and you will become connected. You will start to flow in the annointing God has for you in your life. AMEN!

Remember Jesus walked on this earth with a determination to do the Fathers' will, He stayed connected to the Father and His teachings. We must do the same. We must have a determination to get connected, to stay connected, and to be obedient to the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us.

STAY IN THE WORD!
