No Seed Too Small

We have all heard the saying as small as a mustard seed. How small is a mustard seed, almost too small to see. Yet when planted, that seed can become a great tree.

Luke 13 v 19.....It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.....

That one little seed dropped on purpose or by accident caused a great tree to grow, and a safe haven for the birds to nest and raise their families. Do you see that it wasn't the size of the seed sown, it was the benefits of what followed with the sprouting and the growth of that tree. It was a safe haven and a resting place for all the birds that came along that way.

You may be planting a seed accidentally, unaware just by your actions today, and that seed may grow and lead others to Christ one day, and then one day someone who was later influenced by that seed, may start a church and grow into thousands of members, and then those members go out into the mission fields and highways and byways of America, and lead more people to the kingdom of Christ all around the world lives being changed because of that one tiny seed you dropped into someone's spirit without even knowing it.

I read a Chinese proverb the other day that said, "No shade?, do not blame the sun if you did not plant a tree." (something like that) Anyway, the meaning is you can not blame the sun if you are hot and you never planted a tree to give you shade. The same with the mustard seed of faith, you can not blame the lost for staying lost if you never planted a seed in their lives. AMEN!
