Praying in the "Spirit"

Some question this, but I assure you it is scriptural.
Romans * vs 26-28....Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now, He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.....
Now we are the called, not just ministers, pastors, teachers, apostles, but we all of us who are born again Christians are who this passage is talking about being called to His purpose. We should all as Christians have His purpose foremost in our hearts and minds.
You know yourselves, sometimes when you pray, you feel you are praying and praying for something to no avail. Well, maybe we are not praying for what we (need) to pray for first. We need to get quiet and listen and then ask God to strengthen our inner man (the Holy Spirit) living within us. We need to ask God, to let our inner man pray out. This may seem at first like nonsense to you if you are not accustomed to praying in the Spirit, but the word says, "the Spirit Himself makes groanings that cannot be uttered" in other words sounds that you cannot make into natural words. The word says, "He (being Jesus) who searches the hearts (your hearts) knows the mind of the Spirit". Now isn't The Holy Spirit, Jesus and the Father one .
Who better to pray out for us what we need and who knows better what our needs are, than "His Spirit" which abides in us.
I gotta tell you, if that does not get you excited and wanting to get into your prayer closet right now and let the Holy Spirit in you pray out for all your needs and desires, then you need to check your excitement button, it must be turned off or on the fritz.
You didn't just learn to speak overnight did you? No, it took practice and repetition of saying the same words over and over again like learning a foreign language in order to speak enough for others to understand you. But this is different, this is a language that God Himself understands and is not for you yourself to understand. This is between God and the Holy Spirit living in you making intercession on your behalf to the Father to bring about an answer to your prayers.
I encourage you today, go get in your prayer closet and get alone with the Holy Spirit and ask Him to pray out to the Father your petitions.
I know, I have gotten myself so excited, I going right now to my inner man and see what the LORD has in store for me today. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!
