Rejoice When Persecuted

We should shout for JOY whenever others persecute us, and spend their energy and time ridiculing us. Why? Because Jesus says Blessed are you when men hate you, persecute you, and exclude you. If you don't fit in with the crowd because you are different, then Jesus calls you blessed. AMEN!

Instead of getting our feelings hurt when others talk about us, we should be shouting for JOY. We do not need to be concerned over such matters when we are children of GOD, because He says they persecuted our fathers before us for their beliefs, and they will persecute us the same.

Everybody is not going to think the same way you do, act the same as you, and probably won't have the same values that you have. But that is ok. The word tells
us, we are a peculiar people. Be proud to be different. Be proud that you are not just one of the crowd. Be proud to be a Christian and to have the blessings of the LORD over you and your life.

A little exercise I do every morning before going into the work place, is I pray and ask the LORD to close my ears to anything that is not a pleasing sound unto His ears, and let me stay focused on my job and not those around me. I ask Him to bless each and every co-worker in my department and that He would remove any harmful and evil spirits that might be trying to take over in our department. I ask Him to fill the place with His joy, and to show FAVOR on me in the workplace. It is a great way to start the day, and helps the day to be filled with JOY for me anyway. AMEN!

Luke 6 v 22-23......"Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, for in like manner their fathers did to the prophets......

Luke 6 v 27-31...."But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.....

Remember 1 Cor. 13, the lesson on how we are to love each other and you can't go wrong.

If you will accept the blessings of the LORD JESUS, and not the condemnation of the world, you will find JOY! AMEN!

RTB....Luke 10-12...
