How To Walk Like Jesus part 1 part 4

First we need to activate our inner man. The first thing we need to do each day would you agree is seek Him and His righteousness. But to go a step further, we need to activate the Holy Spirit within us, we need to get our inner man awakened and on the job, then as we seek Him, His word will become more clear, more discernable. (is that a word) easier to discern what He is saying to us.

We must be DETERMINED to seek Him first each day so that we may walk out His will for us that day.

We must be DETERMINED not to be disturbed while we are seeking Him and listening to what He has to say to us.

We must be DETERMINED to hear His voice first each day.

We must be DETERMINED in His purpose for our life to see it through.

Matt 6 v 33...but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you....

All what things? All the things He has for you, but most importantly His wisdom to carry His will through.

Romans 8 v 28....and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose....

Once I asked my son when he was doing some traveling during times that were kind of dangerous. I said, are you not concerned about your safety when you go to these places? He said No, God gave me a purpose to fulfill, and I have not completed that purpose, and until I do, I have nothing to fear. God will make sure His will is done.

It reminded me of the story of the disciples in the boat, when Jesus had told them to get in the boat and go to the other side, and then the storm came and they were all afraid, and they woke Jesus and said are you not concerned that we are going to die in this storm (my words), but Jesus just spoke to the storm and said be still, and it quit. You see the point is, Jesus said go to the other side, and if they could only have faith that if Jesus tells you to do it and you do it, He is not going to let anyone or anything stop what He said to do. AMEN!

We must seek Him first each day and see Him not with our natural eyes, but with our spiritual eyes. We must see Him for who He is. And then and only then can we receive from Him our blessings, our healing, our protection. AMEN!

Romans 8 v 34-35....Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?

In other words, tell the enemy who do you think you are that you can take what belongs to Christ Jesus? You did not die on that cross for all, but He did, and now has power over you, He has the victory.

Romans 8 v 37-39.....Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our LORD.....

That scripture kind of says it all. Nothing can separate those who abide in Him. Those who seek Him and His will. Those who have set their face like flint to stay in His truth and His will for their lives. Those who are walking like Jesus with a DETERMINED PURPOSE. AMEN!

STAY IN THE WORD!
